Today I visited Savan’s Bakery in Warkworth.
To sum up my experience, the two pies I tried weren’t really my favorites-they were just average for me.
🥧Butter Chicken pie.
The first was the butter chicken pie.
Instead of the usual masala spices, the tomato flavor dominated, making the pie taste mostly of tomato sourness.
🥧Chicken, Spinach, and Feta pie
Next, I tried the chicken, spinach, and feta pie.
This one also wasn’t to my taste. There was plenty of feta, but it lacked saltiness and the flavors felt a bit one-dimensional.
Final Thoughts
On the positive side, the chicken in both pies was not too dry.
