Today we visited Turua Bakery near Paeroa, it has 4.5 stars over 784 reviews on google map. it offers a varity of pies, and we tried creamy chicken pie and beef potato top pie.
🥧Creamy chicken
The creamy chicken pie is a hit.
The shredded chicken absorbs the creamy sauce, and the mixed vegetables add a delightful creamy flavor.
🥧Beef potato top
On the other hand, the beef potato top is a bit of a disappointment.
Potato top is well-done crispy but the mince inside with gravy is a bit salty and has a strange meaty aftertaste.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I enjoyed the chicken pie, but I wasn’t a fan of the beef potato top. for me, i will give those pies 3.5 star, which is lower than 4.5 star rating on google review
